Retaining walls for Lenoir foothill yards. We level sloped backyards, replace failing walls and build terraces with steps and lighting.
Lenoir yards range from rolling to steep. A well-built wall is usually the first step to getting real use out of the backyard.
One or two walls create a flat terrace for a patio, lawn or play space where there was only slope.
Old timber and unreinforced block walls lean and rot. We remove them and rebuild with engineered block and correct drainage.
Built-in steps and low-voltage lighting make the new levels safe and usable after dark.
Designed in 3D first if you want to see it, then built by our own crew. More about our retaining wall service →
Engineered systems such as Allan Block, built for strength and long-term stability.
Fieldstone and dry-stack stone walls that blend into the landscape.
Terraced walls that turn a steep slope into usable levels.
Gravel backfill, fabric and drain pipe behind every wall.
Walls and grading that stop a hillside from washing out.
Low walls that add seating and frame planting beds.
It depends on the height. Walls over 4 feet require a building permit in Caldwell County, and we handle the engineering and paperwork as part of the job. Lower walls usually do not need one.
Segmental block retaining walls typically run $25 to $50 per square foot installed, and natural stone runs higher. Height, length, access and drainage all affect the price. For a quick ballpark, try our free online Cost Estimator, then contact us for a firm quote after a site visit.
Yes. Poor drainage is the main reason walls fail. Every wall we build includes gravel backfill, drainage fabric and perforated pipe where needed, so water pressure never builds up behind it.
