Free Online Cost Estimator: Get a Real Price Range in Under a Minute

"Call for pricing" is the most frustrating four words in this industry. You're not ready to schedule a two-hour consultation — you just want to know if a paver patio is a $6,000 project or a $16,000 project before you spend any more time on it. So we built a tool that tells you, instantly, for free, with no phone call required: our online Cost Estimator.

Why We Built an Online Cost Estimator

Most hardscaping and landscaping companies make you wait for a callback just to learn whether a project is in your budget at all. We think that's backwards. You should be able to sketch out a rough idea — a 300 sq ft patio, a retaining wall, a new planting bed — and see a real number before you ever pick up the phone. So we built a tool that runs on the same pricing we actually use in the field, not made-up placeholder numbers, and put it online for free.

What You Can Price Instantly

The estimator covers the three types of projects we build most:

Each path takes under a minute and ends with a real price range — not a single made-up number, but a low and high that reflects how similar jobs actually price out.

A Few Real Examples

To show you what "real pricing" actually means, here are a few sample runs straight out of the tool:

Change any input — a bigger patio, a pricier paver, more plants — and the range updates on the spot.

How the Numbers Work

Every price in the estimator is built from the same per-square-foot, per-linear-foot, and per-plant rates our crews actually price jobs with — not a generic industry average. Mulch and drip irrigation, for example, are priced off real formulas: tell us roughly how big your bed is or how much drip line you need, and the tool calculates cubic yards or linear footage the same way we would on a job site.

That said, it's still a rough estimate, not a formal quote. Site access for equipment, drive time and distance, slope and soil conditions, existing material removal, utility lines, and permits can all shift the final number — and none of those are visible from behind a screen. Every estimate ends with the same honest disclaimer: we confirm exact pricing with a free on-site visit.

What It Won't Do

The tool is built for typical residential projects. If your patio comes out under 150 sq ft or over 3,500 sq ft, or your plant order is a substantial full-property design, it'll route you straight to a real quote instead of guessing — per-sq-ft pricing doesn't account for minimum project costs on tiny jobs, and bigger jobs deserve an in-person look regardless. Fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and standalone steps are also priced in person since they're complex enough to need it.

"An instant price range isn't meant to replace a conversation with us — it's meant to make that first conversation worth having, because you already know roughly what you're working with."

Whether you're just curious or ready to move forward, give it a try. It takes less time than reading this post.
